Just tried the Banh Mi sandwiches here. Soooo good!
The B1 (cold cut combo) is my favorite! (Also tried the B2 (chicken) and B6 (meatball), which we're both really good as well).
This is definitely our new go-to for Banh Mi and I love that I don't have to drive all the way to Eden Center and battle the parking over there anymore! -

Excellent Vietnamese sandwiches, probably the best in the Springfield area. I would still go with Banh Mi DC if you're looking for the number one in all of NoVA, but La Bledo is definitely my second favorite (and better than anything in Eden Center for Vietnamese sandwiches). They give you some good options to customize (including a fried egg!), and they have other Vietnamese dishes as well that were not bad. They are close to me so I will be a regular here.
Don't order on UberEats though, they actually increase the price per item and don't give the buy five sandwiches get one free. So save money, go in to the shop and eat your sandwich fresh. Yum! -

Le Bledo is a hidden gem in Springfield. They serve tasty Vietnamese food paired with friendly service. The husband was craving a bahn mi so we stopped in recently for lunch. In addition to bahn mi they have pho and other Vietnamese dishes. I ordered a grilled pork bahn mi and the husband ordered the pork belly bahn mi. The sandwiches are filled with veggies and stuffed in a baguette. We both opted for the scrambled egg.
We were both pleased with our bahn mi. My pork was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The bahn mi were stuffed full but still manageable. The husband was a fan of his bahn mi as well. Service was efficient and friendly. I definitely want to come back and try the pho and Vietnamese coffee. Best part, you don't have to trek to Eden Center for a bahn mi. This is a great option! -

Was in town and always enjoy trying out New Vietnamese restaurants in the area as in my small town we only have 1!
This place did not disappoint in the quality of the food and the service!
The man who took our order was great and answered all of our questions.
Tried the following food items this visit:
Shrimp & pork summer rolls-yummy and a delicious sauce comes with it!
Crispy spring rolls-also very good and the fish sauce was yummy too!
Vermicelli pork bowl-nicely grilled pieces of pork and a ample portion of food.
Shredded Chicken bahn-mi-delicious! First time ever having bahn-mi and it was great!
Will return when in the area! -

I cannot speak for the rest of the menu, so I will just speak for the Banh Mi in this review.
These Banh Mi are not just good, these Banh Mi are EXCELLENT, and you do not have to go into Falls Church to get them. Unlike a lot of Banh Mi joints inside the beltway, the size of these things are stuffed with meats and vegetables that do not make you feel as if you are counting the amounts that they put into them. The bread is also terrific, which really is the key to making any Banh Mi sandwich good.
I ordered their two most popular Banh Mi sandwiches, the B1 (combination) and B7 (barbecue pork), and both were absolutely terrific. I really enjoyed them both, and got a little teary when I got to the end of both sandwiches because of how delicious and plentiful they were. Unlike some restaurants that are reluctant to put any sauce or paste on them, Le Bledo gives plenty to avoid that dryness trap that Banh Mi can often fall into.
I was very impressed with the friendliness and know-how of the staff here. Considering the apparent youth of the staff, they all worked hard, and (not to be demeaning), the staff seemed to be half Asian, half Hispanic, pretty strange for a Vietnamese restaurant, but it worked well here. However, I was not a fan that I was nearly nickel and dimed. When I asked for pate in the Banh Mi, they wanted to charge me a dollar extra just for that. Seriously? No thank you.
For the diehard Banh Mi fan, they have a deal where if you buy 4, the fifth is free, so get the whole family or office one if they are all into this kind of a sandwich. Lastly, they take credit cards, but at a $10 minimum so be prepared to carry cash if you if you are only planning on making a one and done purchase.
Thank you Le Bledo for bringing the hearty taste of South Vietnam into Springfield!
